You have trained extensively in heavy armor, and you have learned to take advantage of the protection it offers.
Prerequisite
Armor Profi ciency (heavy), base attack bonus +4,
Required for
Deflective Armor (RS) , Greater Heavy Armor Optimization (RS) ,
Benefit
When you are wearing heavy armor, lessen the armor check penalty of the armor by 1 and increase the armor bonus by 1.
Special
A fi ghter may select Heavy Armor Optimization as one of his fi ghter bonus feats (see page 38 of the Player's Handbook).
