This power allows the user to control the movement of an otherwise inanimate
object, giving it the appearance of life. For example, animate object can make
chairs walk or stones dance, though objects being animated must weigh 100 pounds
or less. The material the item is made of affects the difficulty of the task,
as indicated below.

Once animated, all materials become flexible to some extent, though fluid
motion is uncommon. Animated items move like puppets, with jerky, clumsy motions.
If the item was rigid initially, it makes loud creaking, groaning, or grating
sounds as it moves. An animated item moves up to 60 feet a round (movement rate
6). It can be used to attack, acting like a club with a THAC0 of 20 and a damage
score of 1d6 points.
