Magic Resistance
Most spells fail when used against a legendary monster with this power. The
creature’s resistance can be continuous or conditional. For example, a creature
might be resistant to spells only while the moon is full or for a short time
after it eats a certain food. Similarly, a creature’s resistance might be
ineffective against a certain class of spells or ineffective against opponents who have
found a specific item or performed a special task.
